The event comes at a pivotal moment, as Connecticut lawmakers left the 2025 session without passing new regulations on AI. While businesses show growing interest in adopting AI, many remain unsure how to implement it effectively.
Hartford Mayor Arunan Arulampalam emphasized that AI is now “an essential tool” for both business sustainability and workforce development. Meanwhile, city leaders are exploring broader initiatives, including plans for a $90 million applied AI center in Hartford.
